We love to work with clients on custom rug commissions. Have a look at the Explore section on our website to read more about the Amazigh rugs, history and traditions. Our weavers can work with various materials and can source (most) colors. But don’t worry if you don’t exactly know what you want. During a personal meeting we will define your wishes by making use of the references and inspiration that we have collected over the years.

The Mina Abouzahra x Rietveld fauteuils are totally unique. However, we can make a similar version for you. Please let us know what you would like and we will do our best to propose something!

It’s hard to track down the history of a rug since many families are not literate and the history of a particular rug is not often recorded. However, each rug carries its own stories with the way it was knotted and in the symbols and colours that were used in its design. Mina has become an expert in unraveling these stories, so if you’d like to know more, visit our showroom and we will be delighted to share the hidden details of the vintage rugs with you.

We believe that you buy a rug not just for now, but also for the future. That’s why we believe that it’s very important to make the right decision. We will gladly give you advice based on your own personal style and needs. We can also arrange a try-out at your house, so that you can experience a Moroccan rug in your space.

We can custom design a rug for you (size, pattern, colour - it’s all up to you!). This rug will be handmade by the female weaving cooperatives that we work with. Your purchase will benefit the community and encourage them to pass the craft on to the next generations.
