Check This is a limited edition designed by Bertjan Pot to celebrate 5 years of OSMB, hand-knotted by the hands of Amazigh women in the Atlas area.

Bertjan Pot about OSMB: “The One Square Meter Berber project gave me the chance to discover the world of Moroccan textiles, an exceptional opportunity to learn about the high levels of improvisation and spontaneity that goes into each rug woven by the Berber women. I also discovered that for a large part, textiles seem to be part of everyday life for the locals; almost as if it were woven into their DNA. Some time has passed since my memorable stay with the Moroccan weavers, but the project is never far from my thoughts. The dynamics of ownership, for example, is perhaps the greatest lesson learnt. When I presented my design to the women, I was aware that my drawings and samples would be interpreted by the weaver, enriched by her personal qualities.”
